For the 5th time PIT GREEN LEAGUE (PGL) is proud to present the World Cup of ‘Micro Golfing’ at the IMM Cologne 2010.
The thrilling event takes place on Sunday, the 24th of January 2010 in the halls of [D³] Design Talents. The best players of the world will come together and challenge in a fascinating game until the new champion is defined.
From the 19th until the 23rd of January every visitor has the chance to practise their concentration and accuracy with Pit Green and even to take part in the final on Saturday, the 24th of January.
When you are also interested in trying this new way of golfing come and join!
The best 16 players then have a chance to get into the final round and to become the new world Champion in ‘Micro Golfing’.

Dear Micro Golfers,
After a long break here is the next big bang in Micro Golf history. The PIT GREEN LEAGUE presents it opening event at the beginning of the year at the International Furnishing Show in Cologne.
On Saturday, January 20th the match will start at the d3-lounge in Hall 2.1 - PGL members and newbies are welcome.
The d3-lounge “H.O.M.E of creative thinking” will be designed by
rutan GmbH. The driving range at the PIT GREEN provides 215 square meters
for the qualification disciplines:
• Longest Drive
• Highest Pitch
• Best Put
• Nearest to the Pin
The qualification round starts at 11 a.m., the final begins at 3 p.m. and the award ceremony will be held at 6 p.m.
Players can registrate either by email to the "World Micro Golf Organisation"

or by filling in the registration form at www.pitgreen.com.
Registration is also possible on the day of the competition until 11.00 a.m.
directly at the PIT GREEN Driving Range (Hall 2.1).
Participation in the competition is free of charge. Online registrations will
get a reduced admission charge for the IMM.

TEE-OFF Event 2007

At the beginning of 2007 PIT GREEN LEAGUE organised the world’s biggest micro golf tournament – for the first time during the International Furnishing Show in Cologne. An area of 450 square meters was devoted as a driving range – the „d3-lounge“ was designed by rutan GmbH to provide optimized micro-golf conditions for athletes and carpeteers.
After a thrilling match Christian Ley stood up to his rivals and did not
even lost his concentration when the soundcheck on the opposed stage started
during the final match.

With international Guests 27 Micro Golfers made a great Match.
'On Stage' they qualified in the following disciplines:
ûLongest Driveë // The longest hit with the Driver
ûHighest Pitchë // The highest hit with the Wedge
ûBest Putë // The most holes with the Putter
The 16 best players played the final Match trough the 'James Bar' on a 1-hole course, fighting for the famous PGL Open 2006 Cup.
The winner is: Pierro Cuozzo - lucky by his good qualification result because his counterpart Jens Hildenbrand also putted at 8 strokes.
